“Two Techniques On How to Improve Email Deliverability” written and video by Mike Marko.
Are you struggling getting your email delivered to people’s inboxes? Are your emails getting stuck in their “Junk” folders?
Or maybe you are just having poor open rates.
Emailing your lead list is an essential part of any online marketing campaign. If you are not effectively delivering your email to your leads then it could be costing you in the long run.
That’s why today we will be talking about two ways on how to improve email deliverability.
How to Improve Email Deliverability
In this article I am going to assume you already have an email autoresponder. If you don’t, then I recommend you check out my review on Aweber s GetResponse Comparison – A Review of E-mail Autoresponders.
So assuming you have the autoresponder, and have already started building an email list, let’s get started…
Tip #1 For How to Improve Email Deliverability:
Prune The List

I get it… I understand the resistance to deleting emails from your list. After all, you put a lot of time and effort (and probably MONEY) into those emails.
But there is a time where these anchors could be dragging the entire ship down.
Keep in mind that these leads are NOT opening your emails. If you did what I did, they hadn’t opened your emails in the last 6 months. So, are these really people you should worry about? Now sure you may have a lucky headline that may trick them into opening your email, but more often than not that emails is either going to sit there forever, get deleted, or (worse) hit the spam folder.
So why keep people on your list that don’t care about what you have to say? Especially when you consider that your lower open rate will affect your overall deliverability.
I say get rid of the leads sitting around for a while that have no intentions of opening your emails.
Tip #2 For How to Improve Email Deliverability:
Regular Posting Times

Another tip to improve email deliverability is to send your emails at roughly the same time every day.
Now keep in mind that you should be emailing your list daily if you want to stay in front of them and keep you in the front of their minds. We like to email typically around 7AM in the morning and 7PM at night. We have been doing that for over a year now.
Just recently, I found out that by doing this we had actually improved our deliverability. So if you want to make sure your emails are arriving in your prospect’s or customer’s inbox, try emailing them at the same times every day. If you just start getting into the habit of doing this, you may see an improvement within 2 to 3 weeks.
Final Thoughts on Email Deliverability
I expect that these tips will help you in making sure your emails get delivered in your leads inbox, thus avoiding their spam folder or being deleted.
