AN ENGINEER'S APPROACH TO MARKETING

Everyday is Wisdom with Guest Tshombe Brown – Part 3

“Everyday is Wisdom with Guest Tshombe Brown – Part 3” written by Bren Koger.

Everyday is Wisdom is a show where I bring you interviews with some of the most inspirational people that the world has to offer. Your life connects you with wisdom every day so that you can co-create with the universe in the areas of relationships, health, and finances.

Guest Tshombe Brown

The ultimate goal in life is joy and laughter and these are the best words to describe Tshombe Brown’s energy and spirit. Listen in on this episode of Everyday is Wisdom as Tshomne shares his wisdom about life, marketing, and business sales.

Tshombe works with healers, body workers and yoga instructors. He encourages a paradigm shift. He says that, “Selling and marketing a business is really about coaching and helping others to get what they want.”

We Are All Spiritual

In part 2 we discussed “knowing your shadow.”

-Chaotic or catastrophic events can cause great leaps of experience

-We have a choice…A full range of what it means to be spiritual in this earthly experience or not.

The Prophet

From the classic book “The Prophet” by Kahlil Gibran

“Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire,
that you may become sacred bread
for God’s sacred feast.

All these things love will do unto you
that you might know the secrets of your heart,
and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life’s heart

But if in your fear you would seek only love’s peace
and love’s pleasure,
then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness
and pass out of love’s threshing-floor,
into the seasonless world where you shall laugh,
but not with all of your laughter,
and weep,
but not all of your tears.

For Love gives naught but itself
and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not
nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.

And when you love you should not say,
“God is in my heart,”
but rather, “I am in the heart of God.”

Tshombe Brown and the Common Thread

  • Tshombe Brown tells us that the common thread of his life has always been there, but he wasn’t always aware of it,
  • It’s always about being yourself.
  • We all only do things for the benefit we are going to get from it.
  • There is always a positive intention behind everything that we do.
  • It’s not about helping people with their business it’s about bringing people back to God by bringing yourself back to God.
  • Take away the illusion that is not the truth and come back to God.
  • All of us our work is bringing each other back to God and bringing more love back to people.

(ACIM Lesson 275)
“‘God’s healing Voice protects all things today.”

‘Your healing Voice protects all things today, and so I leave all things to You. I need be anxious over nothing. For Your Voice will tell me what to do and where to go; to whom to speak and what to say to him, what thoughts to think, what words to give the world. The safety that I bring is given me. Father, Your Voice protects all things through me.’

“Everyday is Wisdom with Guest Tshombe Brown – Part 2” written by Bren Koger.

Tshcombe Brown and Know Your Shadow

In part 1 we discussed “magnetic distinction.”  In part 2 we discussed:

How your shadow experiences can be your greatest gift.  The shadow you would like to hide is your greatest gift. That’s the piece that will help you prosper. If you make it mean that you are less than everyone else, you will miss out on life. Bring the shadow out and celebrate it.

If you’re marketing to everyone, You’re marketing to no one.  Honor the person other person to know that they know what’s best for them. If someone chooses to not do business with you, it never has anything to do with you. Always be distinct when you are promoting yourself or your business.  “Don’t paint everything in gray.”

From the poem, “The Way it is” by William Stafford:

There’s a thread you follow. It goes among
things that change. But it doesn’t change.
People wonder about what you are pursuing.
You have to explain about the thread.
But it is hard for others to see.
While you hold it you can’t get lost.
Tragedies happen; people get hurt
or die; and you suffer and get old.
Nothing you do can stop time’s unfolding.
You don’t ever let go of the thread.

The common thread is That we are all the same story.  We are all connected to source.

Our individual expression or God

If something happens that we view as a tragedy we can’t see until we go through it that there is a thread.  Nothing you can do can stop times unfolding you don’t ever lose hold of the thread.

Spiritual folk can use affirmations or law of attraction like alcohol or drugs. It’s a way for the ego to be more in control. We don’t want to slay the ego, we just want it in the back seat. Make friends with it, don’t try to slay it.

Tshombe and Law of Attraction

Tshombe Brown will use Law of Attraction in his business coaching if it is someone who uses is already familiar with it.  If we are in Presence and flow we are guided to what we need to manifest and guided to the actions that are congruent to that. Write down a goal + take action =manifestation. Then the synchronistic events happen.

Like attracts like..but the INSPIRED action step is crucial.

If you don’t know the next step don’t do anything,  just sit in meditation.

In episode 3 of this series Tshombe Brown talks about…times when we have quantum shifts.

Magnetic Distinction with Tshombe Brown

In this episode Tshombe talks about:

  • By developing magnetic distinction in your messaging you are bringing all of YOU to your marketing and selling; It’s about being distinct. If you’re struggling to find what makes you distinct, a key place to look is where you might be embarrassed or ashamed. That’s the thing that people love about you.
  • Magnetic distinction is who you are and how you are perceived when you are fully self-expressed. Our work is  to get back to being fully self expressed. It’s how you are when you are your best expression of God. It’st taking off all the pretend pieces that have been layered on over time. All your work is to unpeel the layers.
  • “The shadow” are things that we think are horrible and bad about us. In terms of business your most profitable essence has to do with those shadow pieces. You don’t want to market to everyone.Being transparent gives you credibility with the people that need to hear it.

Highlights from Discussion with Tony Burroughs

1:22 Tony talks about how certain areas are infused with energy from the thoughts and feelings of the people who have lived there before. He was aware of this when he got the information download for the book The Code-Ten Intentions for a Better World. He advises to be alert to when you start to get information. It could be a message you could pass on to your fellow travelers.

8:57 Tony talks about the how the intenders process is becoming more mainstream.

11:10 Tony talks about the power of a circle, holding hands and toning to facilitate oneness in a group. “Oneness is THE spiritual experience.”

16:20 “From the time we are small children, we’ve been taught to mind our manners and to be like everybody else. We’re told that it’s respectful of others to practice certain courtesies, and that’s fine, as long as we don’t become slaves to what other people think or say about us. Taken too far, our conformity keeps us living a subtle, but very real, state of fear.We become afraid of acting differently than everyone else around us. Even when our heart tells us to do something one way, our social consciousness screams out to do it another way, lest we draw too much attention to ourselves. And all too often, our fear wins out. – Tony Burroughs “Get What You Want- The Art of Making and Manifesting Your Intentions.”

Tony is a prolific storyteller and in the story of Rusty the dog, he tells a beautiful metaphor for living a life of courage, freedom, and non-attachment.

Thank you Tony!

Everyday is Wisdom – Interview with Simran Singh

“Everyday is Wisdom – Interview with Simran Singh” written by Bren Koger.

“We are all getting signs and symptoms all the time. We are getting volumes and paragraphs of communication from the universe every single day.” – Simran Singh

I had the priviledge of interviewing author, speaker and creative catalyst,  Simran Singh, for my online Everyday is Wisdom show.

Everyday is Wisdom is a show where I bring you interviews with some of the most inspirational people that the world has to offer. Your life connects you with wisdom every day so that you can co-create with the universe in the areas of relationships, health, and finances.

In this episode Simran shares her wisdom on living a life of  courage and freedom.

Simran Singh Bio

Simran is a life coach, renowned author of the books “Conversations With the Universe” and “Your Journey to Enlightenment.” She is a motivational speaker, publisher, and online radio talk show host of 11:11 Talk Radio with upwards of 350,000 listeners per month.

She shares a bit about her  story of the publication of 11:11 magazine.

In her 30’s Simran says she was a workaholic living a “robotic” life.  She studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and starting her own clothing brand called Rajee.  She was then in an arranged marriage, a decision that she says she made out of a desire to “be the perfect child.”  They divorced this February after 18 years of marriage.

Simran Singh and Her Turning Point

Her turning point came in 2008.

“At that point in my life, I had completely become what other people wanted me to be,” Singh says.

One day in her prayer room, she prayed for a sign and then blacked out. She says she doesn’t know how long she was out — it could have been hours or days — but when she awoke, the sun was shining on her through the windows and a clock in the room read 11:11.

“I sunk into a very deep depression for the next four weeks. In the course of that next four weeks, everywhere I went, whether it was to stay in bed half the day and roll over and look at the clock, or whether it was to go out to pick up my son or get groceries, I would see 11:11 or 111. It was license plates, billboards, clocks. I would come down from my bedroom at 3 in the afternoon, and the microwave would be flashing 11:11. That would happen 20 to 25 times a day.”

What to make of all this?

“It is a tapping from the universe to let you know that something’s got your back, and it’s bigger than you, so you don’t have to worry as much,” Singh says.

Publications by Simran Singh

In 2008, soon after this point of crisis, Simran Singh started publishing 11:11 Magazine, with outlines getting “downloaded” to her mind every September.

She has since written two books.  Conversations with The Universe: How the World Speaks to Us  reveals how repetitions, coincidence and synchronicity are part of a personal conversation from the Universe, intended to provide ease and guidance.   Your Journey to Enlightenment   lays out the 12 guiding principles that will help you discover how to:

  • Live in constant, unfolding potential, without attachment to outcomes
  • Live awake and aware, soaring as a magnetizing force in personal and global expansion
  • Live and walk an authentic path of devotion, unlocking inherent gifts and unique genius
  • Live a process of self-activated awakening for mastery of the multi- dimensional experience
  • Discover the fountain of youth as you re-engage the energies of innocence and play

She is in the process of finishing her third book, Your Journey to Love; Discover the Path to Your Soul’s True Mate and Experience the Lover & Beloved.
This book is scheduled to be released Feb 16, 2015. I can’t wait!

Simran says she does not want us to see her as a guru.  She, instead, wants to encourage us to look within ourselves for guidance and to know that we are constantly being guided by the universe.

Thank you, Simran, for  being such a shining example! You are an inspiration to us all!

If you’re struggling with finding your passion, or have ever asked yourself:

What do I want?

What do I want to experience?

What does success look like to me?

Why should I be miserable in a job I don’t like?

Where do I want to be in 5 years?

Or  you just want to be inspired, then check out this video where Scott talks about his life and book.

Author Scott Hansen in his book No Limits – 11 Tips to a More Prosperous Life

Remember these Key Points from the Interview with Scott Hansen

  • “Keep on keeping on.” Continue to do as many things as you possibly can until you find that thing that doesn’t feel like work.
  • Find something that truly, truly calls to you. Go full tilt into that. Even if you fall down or have people say you’re crazy.
  • Going for your passion can take time and hard work.
  • It’s worth it!
  • Don’t hide your story because you wont know who it can benefit.
  • No one gets to accomplish great things without having some “failure” in their life.
  • Without failure there is no success.
  • There would be no testimony without being tested.
  • If you feel stuck, do anything different.
  • Get up, get out, and get moving!
  • Go join a group, take a class, or volunteer
  • Read a minimum of 10 pages from an inspirational book every night.
  • Meditate and listen to inspirational speakers.
  • You ARE who you surround yourself with.
  • Where you are now is just temporary and a reflection on what you have been doing. If you want things to change, then do something different.
  • You need to take action!
  • YOU control your life. You are the co-creator with your higher source.
  • Get out of your comfort zone and into your growth zone. (I love this)
  • If you want more, then you have to learn a new skill, grow more,  and reach out to the people who are playing bigger than you.
  • Learn a new skill set.
  • If you don’t do something different, things will not change.
  • Your results are exactly where you’ve been from your same thinking.
  • It’s not getting out of your comfort zone, it’s getting into your strength zone.
  • Anytime you want to do something different there’s going to be a “freaked out” moment.
  • Focus on the things that you DO have and appreciate those things and more will come to you.
  • Design your own plan for your life.
  • Start playing in a big way!

Now go for it!  Thank you, Scott Hansen!

As Scott said in the video, “it’s amazing when the right people and the right things come into your path.”

Thank you, Scott, for coming into our path and inspiring us all!
